Redirect Protection

How we block forced redirects and scam pages.

Redirect Protection

Redirect protection stops pages from hijacking your tab or opening pop-under windows without you doing anything — a common trick malicious ad networks use to push scam pages, fake "you've won" prizes, or malware downloads.

How it works

DNDShield watches for window/tab changes that happen without a real user action (a click, a form submit), and separately checks destinations against a list of known ad-redirect networks — blocking both, while leaving real user-initiated windows (login popups, payment checkouts, share dialogs) untouched.

It's on by default and free for every user — no separate setup needed. Toggle it under Popup Settings → Block Popups in the options page.
