Install, configure, allowlist, and troubleshoot DNDShield.

Temporary Allow

Last updated: Aug 5, 2026
Temporarily allow a site for 10 minutes or 1 hour.

Temporary Allow

Temporary Allow pauses DNDShield on the current site for a fixed window, then resumes automatically — useful for testing whether DNDShield is causing a problem, or getting through a site that only misbehaves occasionally.

How to use it

  1. Open the DNDShield popup on the site.
  2. Choose 10 min or 60 min under Temp Allow.
  3. Protection resumes automatically when the timer runs out — or tap Off to resume immediately.

Temporary Allow vs. Allowlist

Temporary Allow is time-boxed and resets on its own — good for testing. If a site needs to stay off permanently, add it to your allowlist instead.
