Install on Android

Most Android browsers, including Chrome for Android, don't support extensions at all — so the first step is switching to one that does.

Use Firefox for Android

1. Install Firefox for Android from your app store.
2. Open the DNDShield download page in Firefox for Android.
3. Tap Add to Firefox from the add-ons menu and confirm the permissions.
4. Confirm the shield is On (green).

What works and what doesn't

Automatic ad and tracker blocking and cosmetic cleanup work the same as on desktop. Ads shown inside other apps (games, social apps) aren't reachable by a browser extension — that's a limitation of how mobile apps work, not of the blocker.
